CEEZER —
Scaling climate finance through design maturity
When I joined CEEZER, a fast-growing climate tech finance startup, the company was at a pivotal moment: ready to scale its customer base and professionalize further its services. The platform itself was already advanced and powerful, but its usability, information architecture, design system, and overall brand maturity were not keeping pace with its ambitions.
As Lead Product Designer over a five-month engagement, I helped the company move from a scrappy early-stage setup toward a more scalable, trustworthy, and design-driven organization.
I hired a report and a freelancer, together we focused on building foundations, both in product and team, that would enable sustainable growth.
Built a white-label design system from scratch
Created a flexible, scalable system to support multiple client experiences while bringing consistency, efficiency, and credibility across products.

Redesigned the information architecture for decarbonization projects
Clarified complex project data, improving navigation and comprehension for both buyers and internal teams.

Launched the "Risk Radar" feature
Introduced a new layer of transparency into carbon credit offers, helping users make informed decisions and significantly increasing buyer trust and conversion.

Streamlined offer-building workflows
Interviewed CEEZER impact managers to design tools that simplified the assembly of carbon credit offers, boosting both internal efficiency and value for end-customers.

Enabled credit trading functionality
Conceptualized the end-to-end experience for trading carbon credits directly within the CEEZER platform. This opens up an entirely new business capability, enabling users to buy and resell credits seamlessly while positioning CEEZER as a more dynamic marketplace.

Led a strategic rebrand
In close collaboration with marketing, I led my design team to elevate the company's visual identity so that we reflect its growing authority and maturity in the climate finance space.
